We have some wonderful news to share! Our boy Bodhi has officially been adopted! Bodhi has found his forever home with a previous adopter. This family is active and enjoys hiking, camping and going for runs along the beach.

UPDATE
TYSON has been adopted. =====================
Tyson is available for adoption!
We have updated this posting since learning about Tyson.
Meet Tyson - 9 year old male
Since being in our rescue, Tyson is experiencing so many "firsts". His first car ride, first time on stairs, first time in an elevator, playing with toys and walking on leash.
Tyson has tons of energy! And he definitely has come out of his shell. Don't tell Tyson he is a senior! He is a young dog at heart looking for a second chance at life. And let me tell you this boy will live every moment to the fullest!
He is great in the house and loves chilling and laying by the fire.
Tyson wasn't walked before so he is learning to be comfortable with all the new things in the world.
He has not had much exposure to other dogs and gets overly excited when he sees them. Since being in RAB our volunteers have worked with him walking around other dogs. He is learning fast and starting to gain confidence in the outside world. Tyson can be reactive to people and dogs on walks. He is looking for a leader to trust to show him the good in the world. He needs someone willing to commit fully to helping him gain his balance and continue to grow.
The best home for Tyson:
Have adopted an adult Boxer before
Have older kids if any in the home
Have time to engage and train
No cats, other dogs at this time is unknown.
ROSIE HAS BEEN ADOPTED
RAB is going to be welcoming 2 new dogs to our rescue this week.
The dogs won't be available for adoption yet, until we can learn more about them in order to set up their adoption for full success. If you are interested we will be opening up our site this week to accept applications.
Please keep in mind that the timeframe will depend solely on the dog. And we will be making the placement based on the best fit for the dogs.
You can access the adoption application HERE: Adoption Application
LUCIA - ADOPTED
Meet Lucia. She is 6 months. An Old English Bulldogge. She is a sweet young girl who is also smart and fun. Unfortunately due to life changes this little lady is finding herself looking for a new home. It is heart breaking and devastating for this family that they have re-home her but they have reached out to RAB for help.
Sweet Lucy was born with Bilateral stifle thickening and palpable effusion. Aka Bilateral cruciate tear. This is in both of her hind legs. The vet recommends TPLO surgery on both of her legs once the vet is confident that her growth palettes have matured. He estimates that this surgery can be done when she is 10 months old.
Doing one TPLO is an extensive surgery let alone two at the same time. Recovery and rehabilitation post surgery would be about 3 months. They expect her to have a good prognosis to have normal athletic function once fully recovered.
