Zeus Update - Adopted BRLA July 2009
Hi Jennifer,
Just wanted to say Happy New Year and give you an update on Zeus. We got him tested for hypothyroid and thankfully he is all clear! He does however have a yet diagnosed food allergy that we are currently working on... and accuring large vet bills for lol. I now know why his previous family in California said they could not afford him anymore. I will never give him up however, as he is much too important in our family and is well loved by his Mom and Dad and all his aunties, uncles, grandmas and grandpas! To be blunt, he spoiled! haha... I am pretty sure it suits him just fine. We took him up to Apex Mountain outside Penticton earlier this month and he played in the snow for the first time that we know of. He loved it. He still does not like certain large male breeds with pointy or cropped ears and it proves challenging some days. But as my trainer put it "well humans don't like every person they meet, so why should dogs like every dog they meet." :D
Thats all for now. I have included some photos
Lauren, Chris and Zeus
