Owen's Christmas Tree Fund

As a lot of you may know we have the sweetest boxer boy that has officially become a "Ward of WBBR"!!! Medically he will be our responsibility for the rest of his life, because he has a very rare but serious condition. Owen has been diagnosed with an Auto Immune Mediated Arthritis that is known as "Lupus". To get to this diagnosis Owen had to have many tests and see several specialists. First, a trip to the Cardiologist was in order, to get a proper grasp on his heart problems. Then, he had to see an Internal Medicine Specialist, to be evaluated with his many symptoms. And eventually Owen had to have Joint Taps performed by a specialist. From this information they were able to determine the exact severity of his problems. Owen will need to be on medication for the rest of his life with constant vet care. His vet bills to date are very extensive. We are asking that you please give to Owen's Christmas Fund. Donate a Christmas Tree Ornament for $25 each. Then email us a picture of your Boxer to info.wbbr@gmail.com We will then include the picture of your Boxer to our virtual Boxer Christmas Tree. Plus you will get a very special surprise!!

*HINT* Face forward head shots work the best for pics!!

Merry Christmas from Missy!!

Hi Jennifer.

Missy and Vicki wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and all the very best in the New Year.

Enclosed is a picture with Missy and her Vet, Jeff Bowra, at the Aldergrove Animal Hospital. He dresses up each year and donates his Saturday and all the proceeds from the photos to Charity. Pretty good hey.
Missy update: Her leg is at full strength now and she runs every day. We found a new park with lots of trails and lots of dogs. Missy has made
A lot of new friends and is no longer the reactive dog she used to be. She gets along well with everyone and has huge confidence now.
She is very smart and picks up commands quickly, wow she learns fast. She is full of love and always wants to please me. I feel the same
Way about her LOL
This is a most awesome animal and friend that you gave us. The very best Christmas present of all. She LOVES the snow. She has a green coat
Which keeps her warm and it is also waterproof.
Love ya
Vicki

Happy Holidays from Holly!

Hi Jennifer and Marilyn,

Another year has passed and Holly has bloomed into a lovely girl. She's about 53 lbs and is as adorable as the day we got her. Just wanted to pass along these couple of photos of her so you can see how lovely she is. If I recall correctly, she will be two years on Dec. 15th.

All the best of the season to you and your families!

Sharon (& Mauricio & Holly)
